Partners and integrations
- Lead end-to-end API integrations for 300+ Whish Pay partners and 15+ international money transfer companies (payments, QR, bills, top-up and voucher APIs), staying with each partner until a successful go-live.
- Reduced integration error rates by up to 70% and shortened integration time by rewriting the API documentation, fixing underlying bugs and documenting how to handle errors.
- Built the Whish Developer Portal from scratch to replace API specs shared as PDFs, with role-based access control (RBAC) designed to scale partner onboarding.
- Built the Whish Pay product page: one place to get the latest verified WooCommerce plugin and Shopify app with install steps, replacing plugins emailed to each partner.
- Support partners through technical issues by running working sessions with their engineering teams.
- Manage technical communication with providers on API updates, security and configuration.
Platform reliability
- Monitor production health of all Whish systems, especially the Whish app, the Whish Money transfer system and the agent POS system, and lead incident investigation, escalation and resolution for complex platform issues.
Team and process
- Manage a team of 2 engineers: assign tasks, design workflows and guidance, and support them so they develop and keep learning.
- Define technical requirements and turn them into prioritized Jira tasks with Engineering, Product and Tech Leads.
Demand Planning Specialist, Whish Money
- Owned the demand planning unit; produced weekly demand forecasts that proved accurate, optimizing inventory levels and controlling costs.
- Managed API-based accounts to keep operations reliable and balance available.
- Worked with development teams to investigate and resolve API and application issues.

Replacing PDF API specs with the Whish Developer Portal
Before. We shared our APIs with partners as PDF files. PDFs gave us little control over who saw which APIs, and no easy way to keep documentation current.
What I built. I built the Whish Developer Portal from scratch, from the base up. Role-based access control lets us onboard partners and limit what each one can see however we need, and I designed it to scale as more partners join.
Result. Along the way I rewrote and updated the API documentation, fixed bugs I found, and documented how to handle every error response. Integration errors dropped by up to 70% and integrations got faster.
The hard part. Designing the hub's vision and its base: deciding what it should become and building a foundation that could scale.
From emailed plugins to one verified download page
Before. We sent the WooCommerce and Shopify plugins to each partner by email, with the steps spread across the message. The WooCommerce plugin was attached every time.
What I built. I built the Whish Pay product page as the place to pick up the latest verified plugin, with instructions for installing it. It does the same for Shopify, and it points developers to the REST API for custom websites.
What changed. Partners no longer depend on an emailed attachment. Every partner starts from the same page, with the current version and the same steps.
